Selecting The Right Shower Door
One of the first things you must consider when selecting a glass shower door is if the enclosure uses heavy glass. Like in many of the frameless shower enclosures, it's important that the wall has enough strength to support the weight of the glass. Some people that overlook this key step install a frameless shower and attempt to secure the door to nothing more than tile, which, over time, causes the door to be ripped from the wall!
Another thing to consider when selecting a door for your shower is how much space you have available in the bathroom. When space is limited, a sliding glass shower door may be perfect and allow a wide space to and from the shower as well as limiting how much room is needed to open the shower door. In larger bathrooms where space is not a factor, a swing-line style shower doors are a great option.
